How it works
Close an SRL online in 3 steps
Request to close an SRL
Complete the online form or contact an AZALL administrative support specialist to start closing your SRL (Romanian limited liability company). Estimated duration: 1 minut.
Preparing and signing the documents
We prepare the administrative documents needed to deregister your SRL. You sign them digitally and we submit them to the Trade Register. Estimated duration: 30 minute.
Processing the final stage and receiving the documents
Once the previous stages and statutory waiting periods are complete, we submit the final application. Processing this stage is estimated to take 3–5 working days after submission of the complete file, depending on ONRC and any requests for additional documents; this is not the total business closure time. You receive the deregistration certificate and official documents by email. Estimated duration: 3–5 working days.
Additional information
For SRL closure using the two-stage procedure described on the page, Official Gazette publication is included in AZALL's 1,000 lei package. PFA deregistration does not follow this publication procedure. Debts, taxes and any separate procedures are assessed separately.

| Stage I | Dissolution and liquidation
The decision is then published in the Official Gazette. Publication starts the statutory waiting period required to continue the procedure. |
| Stage II | Company deregistration Once the first stage is completed and the statutory waiting period has elapsed, the company deregistration application can be submitted. A final liquidation balance sheet prepared by the accountant is required at this stage. After the documents are submitted to ONRC and the application is approved, the company is deregistered from the Trade Register. |
| Duration | The entire closure process usually takes between 60 and 120 days, depending on ONRC processing times and Official Gazette publication. |
